For the past few months, I've been emailing calendar invites to all the members that signup for functionary/speaker roles. They really like this but this takes time especially since I have to check it a couple times a day to make sure that no else signed up or removed their name. I think it would be a huge time saver if there was a way to automatically send out an outlook calendar or ical invite to the person that signed up for a role. If this is possible it would also be helpful if it also had the reminders enabled.

The benefit is that it is on the persons' calendar and if the reminders are enabled then it could remind them 1 week before the meeting and then a couple of days before the meeting. Let's face it some of the people forget they signed up and aren't prepared for the meeting especially if they have to give a speech.
