In topic #70999, it was suggested that:
1) Instead of having all sections expanded by default, collapse them all by default (i.e. as if the user clicked "Collapse all" at the beginning) ... If you collapse them all by default, people will be forced to select the correct path/manual they are working on first.

The list was re-organized to put Pathways on the top, but it wasn't explained it if was feasible to default to Collapse All.
As VP of Education, I find members are often selecting the first open Pathway because it is there.

I feel this would be a huge improvement to reduce errors since as VP of Ed you have to do the extra validation of determining which path they are on to see that it was done correctly.

Thanks

I looked into this. The collapse-all is easy enough. The issue is that if all the paths/projects are collapsed by default, then the filtering does not work, since it depends on displayed projects in the drop-down.

The drop-down and filtering are self-contained widget, so to change the filtering behavior with the collapse-all would be a bit of an undertaking.
