From Tom Colling
Club: Omaha Toastmasters Club 281, 281.toastmastersclubs.org/
District: 24, d24tm.org/

On the club website, the “Edit Your Member Profile” allows turning off “Logins from Unknown Devices/IP Addresses.” The district website does not offer this functionality. I understand that not all of the information is relevant as there are not agenda emails, but it would be nice to disable this on my district account. I frequently log in to various sites from a wide variety of locations and machines, sometimes using incognito or private mode.

Would it be possible to add the means of disabling this notification for district websites?
Thank you,
Tom

Tom Colling, DTM:

Someone just logged in to the District 24 Toastmasters (District d24) website using your member log in credentials.
You are receiving this email because the log in occurred using an unrecognized device or IP address for you by your
district's website.

It may be that you just logged in from a new or different device, location, or IP address. If that is the case, please
click the following link to indicate that you did this login and the device or IP address is valid so we do not send you
another email about it in the future:

You will see a confirmation screen when you click the above link.

If you did not recently log in to the District 24 Toastmasters district website from a new or different device,
we strongly recommend that you change your log in password. Click the following to do that:

You will be directed to the District 24 Toastmasters (District d24) website when you click the above link.

If you have any questions about this email, please contact the district website administrator Jessica Codr.

Thanks for the heads up!!! :)

This was an oversight on my part since when I originally implemented the ability to disable notifications for members, the only notifications available at that time were agenda related notifications which are not relevant for the district "flavor" of the websites.

You are correct that now there are some notifications that are relevant to both the club and district versions of the websites.

I have tweaked our template to address this. You should find that you can access the relevant member notifications on the district website now.
