The opt-in process causes a lot of unnecessary problems with new members. In one other "closed" thread the support person said it was done for "legal reasons" and could not be turned off. Please tell us the law that requires it? This should be configurable by the club.

The legal department of Toastmasters International will be able to answer your questions, as they forced us to implement the opt-in.

Opt-in will not be optional.

Not even for Prospects and Guests?  Seems weird to ask those folks to opt-in.  How about customizing the language in the email -- can we do that someplace?
