Our Toastmasters regularly make use of the "send this email to" selector to send messages to "members with no meeting role".

I find that there are two shortcomings to this.

First, as club President, I should also receive solicitations to sign up for roles. And second, as club President, I would be interested in seeing messages that are being sent. (I know that users can explicitly check the "club president" checkbox, but in practice, they never do.)

With this in mind, I imagine a few possible improvements to FreeToastHost:

1. Have an admin tool that allows CCing specific officers on all correspondence.
2. Exclude "presiding officer" from the "members with no meeting role" filter
3. Check the "club president" checkbox by default

Aside from this, I think it would be useful to see an indicator in messages (perhaps at the bottom) to show to which subset(s) of users particular messages were sent.

Many thanks for your consideration.

If the agenda is sent to all members then you will get the agenda with the sign up options.
If you select a subset then if you fail to meet the selection you won't get an email.
As far as the agenda is concerned the President is just a member with no special privileges.

Thank you,

Thanks for the response... I knew that's how the app works... that's why I posted this in the "improvement suggestions" discussion.
I am grateful for this platform through which to manage so many of our club functions.
