(L1) evaluation and  feedback #3 - should be:

(L1 optional) evaluation and  feedback #3

in the light of the following from TMI:

'Dear Toastmaster Batten,

Thank you for your email about the Evaluation and Feedback evaluation forms.

Form number three is an optional form that can be used at the club's discretion. It can be used either to assist the member completing the project with serving as an evaluator or by someone evaluating their evaluation. In either use, it is not required.'

Use of the form might be optional, although I don't see that stated anywhere.  The evaluation is definitely the last part of the project as stated below:

Evaluate: Finally, after you have completed both speeches, serve as an evaluator at a club meeting and deliver constructive feedback about another member’s presentation.

We won't be making it appear to be an option as members might assume that the evaluation step of the project is optional.  Up to you whether you use the form or not.

'(L1 use of form [use bold] not required)

would be better than (L1)--by itself--

because

(L3) Negotiate the Best Overcome                     indicates that Negotiate the Best Overcome   is mandatory under Dynamic Leadership
and
(L3 elective) Connect with Storytelling                 Indicates that Connect with Storytelling is an elective under Dynamic Leadership

for example

without 'elective' indicates the form is mandatory

Without '(L1 use of form not required) , you take the risk that toastmasters will conclude that the use of the form is mandatory, not optional.

You should not contribute to that mistake.

(L1 use of form not required) probably minimizes the mistake of treating the evaluator part of evaluation and feedback project as optional.

Sorry, the Evaluation & Feedback project is a required project with 3 compulsory sections.
The evaluation forms are linked to the respective projects, whether they are mandatory, elective or optional.  I'm sure the evaluation forms wouldn't have been provided if it wasn't intended that they be used.

If you don't want to be able to select the form for the compulsory evaluation portion of this project, simply enter it as an evaluation role rather than as a speech role.   The button to access the evaluation forms only shows for roles that are specified as speeches.
