Hello. We are experiencing email delivery issues with the following email address: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

This email address is available on our website. Several of our existing members have experienced email failures when sending emails using this address.

Can we please chance the default email address to the following:

You need to correct your DNS entries for buffalotoastmasters.org that is why you are havine mail issues.

1) Delete these enties

buffalotoastmasters.org. 86400 IN CNAME 2438.toastmastersclubs.org.
2438.toastmastersclubs.org. 3600 IN A 50.19.253.65


2) Add these entires

buffalotoastmasters.org A 50.19.253.65
www.buffalotoastmasters.org A 50.19.253.65
mail.buffalotoastmasters.org A 50.19.253.65

buffalotoastmasters.org MX mail.buffalotoastmasters.org

I made the changes but it seems 1and1 takes a long time to process.

They are not my favorite registrar, although their prices are nice.

Like I said before 1and1 take a while to get things updated.

The changes are made and I am seeing them at the server level. You just need to wait until your local isp dns updates. You might want to try rebooting your local PC and internet modem to clear the DNS caches.

Hello. We have received feedback from members that the following email address may not be working correctly:

This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Scenario: member logon to www.buffalotoastmasters.org and attempts to contact officers using club email address button. It sounds like not all emails are being sent.

If possible, could we please confirm that that Buffalo Toastmaster email address from the BTM website are working correctly?

Also - please confirm which version of email address we should be using when sending email - examples provided below:

I will ask Anna to check her spam folder.

Lori - I believe she tried to send emails using the following 2 methods:

1- replied to an email sent by Carol to BTM general membership. Lori did not receive a copy of the email. I am not sure which email it was sent to.

2 - tried to send an email to BTM officers from the BTM website that she never received - she should have received a copy as a BTM officer.

It looks like BTM website is setup correctly with the email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - I am not sure why the email was not sent and why she did not receive a copy. I will ask her to email me the next time she encounters an issue.

I believe Lori tried to send officer emails using the link on the BTM website on Thurs (3/14) and Fri (3/15).

I will update the BTM officers and membership to use the correct email going forward.

I already provided an example of Lori sending to the officer list and the server did send the email to her, see example of march 15.
