I suspect that you are trying to change them by typing over what is listed.

In membership management, scroll down to the Assign Officer, Guest, Former Member Status drop-down. Change the past officers to members by selecting their name and then their role. Save and repeat to assign the new officers.

Please provide your club number in each post so that we can assist you better. If you add the club number to your forum signature, you will not have to provide it each time.
