Hello.

I am the website admin for www.bbtoast.org (club #397) and we have been having a few issues with the site that I am unable to fix.

1. I have a member who is unable to log in. I "reset" him in the system by removing his name and adding him back in. I later went on to resend the generic welcome e-mail to have him reset his password. It worked one day (the day I performed this task), but the next day it no longer worked and has not worked for several weeks.

2. When a member signs up to be Toastmaster, in the past they have been able to view the Speakers details (intros, manual, title, etc.) as the Toastmaster, which is a view only the meeting Toastmaster can see. I can see the intros when I log in as an admin, but not as a Toastmaster.

Is there any way you can help with these issues. In reviewing the System overwrite e-mail, neither of these problems seem to be an effect of this, but I may be wrong.

What browser and version is the "person" using? If Internet Explorer is need to be IE8 or 9. and the cookies need to be set as per this FAQ,
support.toastmastersclubs.org/logging-in...orer-cookie-settings

Do not remove and add members as they will loose all their history. Use this FAQ to reset their password

Give me an example of an agenda where this is happening

I will follow up on what browser is being used and instruct them to the cookies as such.
Yes, I realized I had probably caused loss on that person's history just as I typed this when I did that....ugh! I have to admit the person has been with the club for 20 years and will not worry about that, but I know not to do it for the future. Thank you for the reminder.

Ok. I will also do the password reset link that you provided if the browser/version doesn't work for him.

I have attached a screen shot for your review of an agenda to show the issue.

Paste the screenshot into either Paint and save as a jpeg, then add file or paste into Word and save as a PDF and add file.

This is the Jan 22, 2013 agenda.
It also happened for the 27Nov2012 and 11Dec2012 agendas.

This is when we noticed it happening.

The problem is you have more than 1 role with the word Toastmaster in it.

Change the Toastmaster Tip to TM TIP and you will find it works.
