Hello and happy Monday! My name is Rose Hamlet, and I am the outreach
coordinator for the screening tour of the documentary film SPEAK. I wanted
to get in touch with your club and introduce myself and our film SPEAK.

To give you some background, SPEAK follows five unforgettable individuals,
including 2008 Champion LaShunda Rundles, as they overcome life=92s hurdles
while participating in the largest public speaking contest in the world,

Also report this to TI, as someone is mining the website for email addresses. It happened to me a few months ago and TI said they would remind the producers not to send from the list of emails on TI, as it is not an authorized use of the information.

Who else may we contact? Many of my club members are concerned about this.

The email addresses from the spammer are those listed on the Toastmasters International site, not on the website. Other than to individual officers (by office, not by name), you need to be a listed member of the club website to send emails using the club site.

Seems like they've started using the addresses on Toastmasters NZ website as well. I've just received one via the club's TM NZ address, and it appears that the content is virtually identical to what's in RobTuttle's message.
