Hello. I'm a member of Talking Meds (club #5290) since June of 2012. I had been receiving emails from the group (via website) just fine, but then I stopped getting them (last one received was Feb 27). We have taken several troubleshooting steps to remedy this, but none have worked. Please read the following before responding:

1. All spam/junk folders have been checked (both locally and at my email host)
2. I have contacted my email host and they checked the incoming logs--emails from toastmastersclubs.org are not being received
3. Our website admin has tried removing me and re-adding me . This has not helped, and I have not received the automated welcome message that should have gone out when I was re-added.
4. I have whitelisted toastmastersclubs.org at my host so that if emails do come in, they won't bounce (but no bounce messages are being received by our website admin either)
5. I added a secondary email address and checked the box to have emails sent to that address as well. That has not worked either.
6. Now I'm not even able to log on to the website, because my password is no longer valid (probably because I was deleted and re-added). I have tried to re-authorize, but I'm unable to receive the email that is sent out to enable me to re-set my password.
7. I contacted support at Toastmasters Int'l and they checked my information and membership--all was fine there. They pointed me to you.

Is this your correct email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. because that is the email address they have for you at your club website.

I am not receiving the club emails at either of these addresses.

There is no secondary email address in your profile, only This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. as the primary
You need to authorize using your gmail address then you can update your profile.
The authorization email was just sent to your gmail account, and was accepted.

gmail.com you need to check your spam box, or contact them to find out what they did with the email.

This is very convoluted and frustrating. I only added the gmail address as my secondary address. And when the admin deleted and re-added me, that would have reset that info, I assume. And maybe she re-added me with the gmail address instead of my regular address. It still doesn't explain why I stopped receiving emails in the first place--and it doesn't assure me that I will be able to receive emails from the group now.

Our mail logs do not go back to February to see what happened back then.

If you get your club to set you up with the email you want to use then we can trace that email.

Another thing you should know--I went to the site and re-authenticated myself just now, and the email (sent to my gmail address) did come in from that. But you said a previous email was sent and accepted--which I did not do. That leads me to believe someone else received and accepted it?

I just now went into my profile and I reset my primary address to what it was before, and included my gmail address as secondary. (You mentioned having my club set me up with the email I want to use--do I need to do that too? Doesn't what I set up in my profile determine that?)

I will also ask someone in the group to send a test email from the site so we can see if that email reaches me. That's great if you can trace it.

Since you were able to log in you do not have to ask your club admin to change the email.

your domain is not accepting the mail connection from toastmastersclubs.org

Wouldn't that send a bounce/error message to the sender? (No one has received that that.)

Also, I whitelisted the toastmastersclubs.org with my host.

And you had said the previous authentication was using my gmail address, not my domain (which is debminerdesigner.com). Please be specific. I've been going round and round with this for too long.

You need to check with your host again domain is toastmastersclubs.org IP 50.19.253.65

You can show then the log entry previously posted.

Yes. I received the welcome email from our admin--which was from a week or so ago. Very strange. I've also emailed my host again with the log info you provided.
