One of the support FAQ's says: Can I create folders in the file manager?
Written by Bo Bennett on 27 October 2011. Posted in File Manager

I tried this and it doesn't work the way I had hoped. Trying to create a "Past Newsletters" foldername followed by a colon and addtional file names separated by a colon just made one long file name of the phrase 0402_Newsltr.pdf: 040913_Newsltr.pdf: etc.

I had to upload a newsletter file name, then reedit the File Manager listed name by placing Past Newsletters: in front of the file name. Then each time I added a newsletter, I had to do this procedure each time for each new newsletter.

Am I missing something?
Carlos

Carlos,

To use the folders, the file names would be:

Past Newsletters:040213_Newsltr.pdf
Past Newsletters:040913_Newsltr.pdf
Past Newsletters:041613_Newsltr.pdf

Not all on one line.

We have a series of meeting pictures. We would like to create a FOLDERNAME and have separate files of say 6-8 pictures. Using the concepts in File Manager, can we create this somewhere on our website. Presently we create separate web pages, which looks a bit unsightly.

Thanks!
