I have added an agenda item "Word of the Day" that shows on the printed agenda but can't see a way to type in say "Frivolous" for this week's Word of the Day. Could you explain how to do that please?

Well, custom items on the menu that you create route to a custom web page (built with the built in tools) or to a webpage specified via a link.

Assuming that you post the word of the day at your meetings, I would either upload the flyer that you post to your website and link the menu item to that document (it would load and they would see the word of the day), OR I would create a custom webpage that you display the word of the day and update it as needed.

You would have to edit the Role and put the WOD in the description. then you would have to make sure your printing the role descriptions
