When we go to simply mass email all of our members from the website (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), I am using the email I have registered with the club, it is returning the email as undeliverable, but when we go to email all of our members our agenda or the schedule to all of our members from the website, it does work. Does the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., This email address is being protected from spambots. When you send an email using one of the email lists, FTH2 is very picky about how you put it in the email address line. (for good reasons)

Are you putting anything else except This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. in the email address line?

Also, BCC is not supported (to decrease risk of spamming), so make sure you are not putting the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. email address in the BCC field.

No, only This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., directly from the website, nothing in bcc as all the members are supposed to be emailed through the members address so there's no need for bcc-ing anyone. Please advise what else could be causing it to not work. We have so many members and so many new members constantly joining, being able to effectively communicate with all members is very important to the success of our club.

What is the exact error message you are seeing?

Also, your DNS settings (e.g., MX setting) might not be set just right.
If you use This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., does that work?

Your domain name is not properly setup at your registrar for email.
Please have the person who bought the domain follow one of the instructions located here

Thank you SO much!!! Members-1810 works. I wasn't sure what to do with the domain links, so I was very relieved to see the member-1810 works. Cannot thank you all enough!

Well, that is great. :)

However, like Brian is pointing to, you still should get your domain name settings corrected.
There could be other issues if they are not set up correctly.

I assume VP of PR in a few days so I'm not sure I have access to the domain name stuff yet? Is it under the clubs websites "admin log in"? Correct communication with all members has always been a challenge for our club bc we weren't able to mass emails the entire from the website, always homemade chain emails.

Well, at some point your club paid the registration fee for a custom domain name, www.tampatoastmasters.org

The fee is paid to a domain name registrar such as GoDaddy and basically gives your club exclusive use of that domain name for a period of time. (It will come up for renewal at some point.)

When you register a domain name, there are some settings that are in the domain registrar's website (usually) that tell them how to process things such as email and other things that have the custom domain name in it (e.g., This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

The key thing to realize is that in many cases the custom domain name is like a forwarding address... the settings tell the domain name registrar how to do the "forwarding".

In your case, the "forwarding" was set up to get from www.tampatoastmasters.org/ to 1810.toastmastersclubs.org, but is not set up correctly to route email from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

The settings must be corrected on the domain registar's website, which it turns out is GoDaddy for your club per the following WhoIs lookup...

Here is some information from a WhoIs lookup for www.tampatoastmasters.org/ :
Expiration Date:24-Jan-2014 18:43:08 UTC
Sponsoring Registrar:GoDaddy.com, LLC (R91-LROR)
Registrant Name:Craig Smikle
Registrant Organization:Tampa Toastmasters
So your domain name registrar is GoDaddy and you will need to renew around January of next year.

The doc on setting the GoDaddy DNS settings correctly is here: support.toastmastersclubs.org/domain-set...gs-using-godaddy-com
