Can a member input the agenda information - not just the administrator? 11 years 5 months ago #26128

For the last year, I have been both webmaster/FTH admin for our club website and VP Education. As a result, I managed all the agendas. Now we are changing to a new VPE, and I am remaining the FTH admin. The new VPE says she cannot make any changes or add other names to the agendas, signing in as a member - only add her own name to the various roles. is there a way to give someone who is not the administrator access to update/change the agendas?

Your VP Ed should be able to use all the agenda functions. Does she know that she needs to click on the pencil icon at the top of the agenda? If she can't see a pencil icon, then maybe she hasn't been designated correctly and that needs to be changed in membership management.

Ruth,

Jane is absolutely right on... I looked at your Membership Management page in the Admin Console, and you are still listed as the VPE. Your new VPE will not get the extended agenda editing rights until she is designated as the VPE in the Membership Management page. The extended editing rights are tied directly to who is tagged as the VPE.

Thank you for this quick reply. I am trying to see where I need to change the officers on the website. Is this something I can do myself, or do I have to wait until the officer list is updated officially by TMI?
