I somehow lost the welcome message on our website. I requested a friend to copy the text from another site and I pasted it to our site. The text is there now, but I can't seem to add new members now. How can I get help with this?

I am using Internet Explorer 8. I noticed recently that I lost the welcome message. I asked a friend to copy theirs and send to me. I pasted it, but could not add members after that. I now have added the members, but I noticed the welcome message is gone again. My pasting the message must have caused my problem. Is there a way to properly get the welcome message restored?
