Hi,

Recently, I started to manage a Toastmasters website. I added a member in that site. After receiving confirmation email, the member tried to reset her password by selecting her name, leaving the password blank, and clicking the Authenticate/Login button. Then, she got email, but it didn't have the link to reset her password.

The following is the email.
Hello:

Click on the link below to access your club website as a member. The site will remember you for as long as you are using the same computer/device and do not clear your cookies. If you wish to access from another computer or device, just reauthenticate, or set a custom password by clicking the link below.

Note: if the above URL is wrapping in your e-mail and not fully linked, you can copy and paste the URL (without the <>) in your web browser's address bar.

There is no link..

Can I get an answer?

The anti virus she is using is probably removing the url.

Was the email in her junk box? If so have her move it to her inbox and see if the url appears.

Hi Brian,

I couldn't contact her after I wrote here. However, another member reported that she had the same problem.
I asked her if the email was in her junk box, and she answered no.

I don't think the anti virus caused the problem because she used the webmail.

Depends on what webmail. many ISP are putting in frontend spam and virus checking.

Remove her email address and an automatic address will be generated and the email will go to you when the password is requested and you will be able to see if the link is there

Hi Brian,

I tried as you said, and got the email which includes the link.
I am going to tell them to change their email accounts.

Thank you very much,
