Hi Support,

We currently have two websites.

gleniristoastmasters.org.au/

gleniris.toastmastersclubs.org/

The first website has incorrect information - eg. wrong club email addresses. We would like to consolidate websites to avoid confusion and remove the first website and have a diversion in place to the second website.

How do I go about this?

Thanks for your help!

Steve,

From what I see, they are identical. Clear your cache and see if that fixes the issue.

Also, because you have a custom domain, you do not need an alias.

Thanks for the quick response!

No luck on clearing Cache and have also tried on another computer.

Specifically when I login and click on Club E-mail Addresses they are different between the two websites.

eg. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. compared to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. does not work which is the issue. Preference is to have just one website.

Regards,
Steve.

From here:
www.viewdns.info/dnsreport/?domain=gleni...sters.org.au&redir=2

It does not look like your DNS settings are set correctly for your custom domain. That is likely why you have been having issues. Look here for guidance and correct information: support.toastmastersclubs.org/domain-set...r-various-registrars

Regardless of whether you want to ditch the custom domain name or fix it, you will likely want to contact your domain name registrar that the custom domain name was originally registered with. The following WHOIS report may provide some clues with regards to this:

Members@... & members-1460657@... are actually supposed to be aliases for each other, but the members@... one only works correctly if your DNS settings are correct. It looks to me that your DNS settings are not correct. I believe that is the root of the problem.
