We'll need to wait for Brian to answer your question, though.

Sometimes you will get that if you do not put the email list address (officers-6585@...) by itself in the To: or CC:.

You might try switching the order (make the email list address first) to see if that gets handled correctly.

Otherwise, you will have to leave the email list address by itself in the CC, and put the persons email address in the To:.

Bill,

Do you realize none of your links in your forum signature work? All of the @'s should be replaced with periods to fix.

There have been numerous problems with the scan/validation of email addresses where multiple alias entries and/or legitimate personal email addresses occur on the same line, although most have been "cured" a long time ago it would seem. This glitch is unique in that it is the wrong message text being issued for "problems" encountered on the "CC:" line. I would hope someone could look at the code and clean this one up too. Work around stuff like changing the order or confining the
field to a single address are just that, attempts to circumvent a bug rather than cure it.

I think the BCC error message is a stock error message that gets triggered by more things than just a BCC related issue. I am not saying I agree with it, I am just saying I think that is what is going on.
