Hello,

I'm new to this forum, so thanks in advance for whatever help you can provide.

I was in our admin console. I changed the admin password and made a new agenda with no problems.

However, when I went to add some text to out home page template, upon attempted saving I get this:

"You have errors in your form below. Please scroll down and correct the following:
This domain is not yet pointing to the IP address 50.19.253.65. In your domain registrar's DNS area, modify the exisitng "A" and "MX" records for this domain, to point to 50.19.253.65, wait the amount of time as specified by your domain host, then try again."

I had made no other changes to settings. When thiserror shows up it also does not save the changes to the home page.

Thanks for any help.

You get that message is you enter any information in the custom domain line and your custom domain is not pointing to our server.

If you have not purchased a custom domain name leave the space blank.

Thanks Brian, but the custom name www.icebreakerstm.org has always been in that box - I didn't change anything. I just took over the site a month ago.

Is it possible the domain registration expired? If I simply remove the DN from the box, will it then work with the 9945.toastmastersclubs.org/ address?

Also, would this affect my ability to save new content on the home page? (I did not clear my cache so I'll also try that).

Thanks..

You domain does not point at our servers you would need to go to your registrar and change the settting ast per these FAQ
support.toastmastersclubs.org/domain-set...r-various-registrars

icebreakerstm.org. 543 IN A 184.168.221.25

9945.toastmastersclubs.org will always work.

OK, thanks!

Just tried it, the custom name does get you there - maybe it's just some kind of a pointer.

Only thing puzzling me is that it won't save the new verbiage on the home page. Any thoughts on that, please let me know.

Thanks again.

The custom domain is not setup properly, so you need to remove it or fix it before you can save that page.
