Hi - I am a new admin login to our FTH site. I can get to the admin console but I don't see where I can view/edit details for each speaker, i.e. manual being used, date, title of speech, etc.
1. How can I do that ?
2. Also, how can I view/edit any member's speech progress through the various manuals ?

Thank you very much.

Please post your club number/website address in every forum message or your forum signature (see my signature below for directions) so that we can better assist you.

All of what you are asking is accomplished from the agenda screen. When a speaker signs up for a role on the agenda, they can enter the speech details there.

The agendas act sort of like a big database with the contents of the agendas being like the records in a database. Thus, the "role history" is really just the information in the past agendas in your website. However, there are role history reports available from the agenda screen that provide nicely formatted reports of role and speech history for any member or members. Look for the button with the person icon on it in the agenda screen.

Steve - thank you so much for your prompt response!
From what I can see, it appears that only the speaker him/herself can enter any details about roles performed or speeches made; is that correct?
Is there any way the website admin person (me) can enter any/all roles/speeches on behalf of any member, not just myself?
Also, after entering roles for myself for a couple of agenda dates, when I ran the role report for all dates, it had only the headers and no info at all.
Ideally, since all role and speech info is recorded in the weekly minutes, I would want that info to update the role and speech database for all members. It doesn't look like that is possible.
As an alternative, since I have all that info in a separate Excel workbook, is there a way to upload that to the FTH site and have the database updated for all members that way?

Sorry for the newbie questions :(
Thanks again!
- Al

Please review the available docs: support.toastmastersclubs.org/docs/user-...ss-to-the-agenda-rev

All of the extended access stuff is available to the admin once you log in as the admin.

Entering roles: yes you can do that but only per the agendas... in other words, you need to create or use (existing) an agenda for each date that past speeches need to be entered for. The agendas are the "information holding mechanism" for role information for any given meeting date. I recommend creating an agenda template in the Admin Console that is very basic/not embellished that you just use for "adding in" past role/speech information. Since it would just serve as a "role history correction", no embellishment should be necessary.

Note that there are several role report variations available in the role report settings dialog. Make sure you use the one for speeches and pay close attention to the settings. Try different variations to see which works best for you.

You cannot currently enter role/speech information independently from using the agendas. No upload mechanism to update roles exists at this time. You can always post an improvement suggestion for that if you think it would be helpful... if it gets enough support from the community, it would be prioritized higher for consideration & actual implementation.
