1) Please post your club number in every post

2) when you create a custom page it is automatically added to to menu in the left column, it will be in either the public or members list.

Please post your club number in every post or in your forum signature (see mine for directions) so that we can take a look at your website if we need to.

You establish whether a page is public or not in the custom web page settings under the HTML editor you use to create a custom web page.

Please review the following FAQs:

Hi Steve,
I've added a Protocole des RĂ©unions custom page (see on the left). I want it to be linked to the content page on the right.
I tried to follow the instructions for the "link only" and I have also created and uploaded an html page (I used to work with static HTML ) but I cannot locate where the file goes after I upload it. I took over the webmaster duties yesterday and our former webmaster didn't have time to brief me. Thanks

So for example, clearly the former webmaster created and uploaded the following file : pourquoi.html

(francofun.toastmastersclubs.org/pourquoi.html)
I've read the File management topic and it only explains how to upload files in order for the member to download them, it's not clear how to upload files that I'd like to link and where are they stored?

I also had a chance to review the full left menu under members only, none of the menu items is linked except for the meeting agendas/create new (francofun.toastmastersclubs.org/ )

I'll appreciate your help, Olga.

Per Brian:

2) when you create a custom page it is automatically added to to menu in the left column, it will be in either the public or members list.

For Custom Pages, content you create in the HTML editor is automatically linked to the menu if you complete the settings below the HTML editor in which you create your custom page content.

The instructions for the "link only" are only for the case in which you want to include a menu link to content on someone else's website.

I followed this and created a test page in HTML editor, it has indeed created automatically an item named test on the left menu but it is not a link. In fact neither of the items on the left menu is linked to any pages .
Could you please take a look francofun.toastmastersclubs.org/ ? Also attached please find a screenshot

Ok, I think I have figured this out...

Most of the items in the Members Only section are deactivated until you actually log in as a member.
(except for agendas & FTH support)
Whether or not you are logged in as the admin does not matter.
This is why I always log in as the admin *and* as a member when developing members only content.

Log in as a member and you will see that there are actually links there.
The are not public links though... you have to log in as a member to use them.

That's better . :) I thought about it myself but for some reason I cannot log in as a member (here is the ID I get when I enter my email - 00261948) - cannot figure it out . And I cannot find the data file with all the pwds.
Many thanks for your help! Much appreciated, Olga

Here is the doc on member logins: support.toastmastersclubs.org/logging-in...-does-a-member-login

If you have forgotten your member password, then leave the password blank when you do the member login and then check your email.

Thank you very much for your patience! I would never have guessed that it just let a user in without a pwd, so contra-intuitive, but I am getting there, and yes, you were right, the links are now activated when I am logged in as a member.

Many thanks , have a great evening. Olga.
