I tried adding the Google Meta Tag from Google's Webmaster Central using the instructions provided on the screen and received an error message stating "This does not appear to be the Google Analytics script code. Please copy it exactly as Google has it displayed." This is what I was pasting in the Google Analytics Script Code Box:

This is what I pasted in the Google Webmaster Central Meta Tag:

Is there something I should be doing differently?

Well, for comparison, here is what my club's Google Analytics code looks like:

Quite a bit different, don't you think? (I substituted #'s for the account code since I am posting here.)

The key is that the Google Webmaster tools and the Google Analytics stuff come from *two* different Google websites. Go here for Google Analytics: www.google.com/analytics/
