I have two prospective clubs in my area, which both have new FTH websites and are in the process of being populated with club member information. We noticed that when we type the name of the club in Google, it does not find the Club or corresponding web page address. However if we type in the exact club number.toastmastersclubs.org, in the search bar, it does find the website landing page--no problem.

Is there something we need to do to make this a website searchable to Google, Bing or other search engines? On my home club FTH website, I can type in the name of the Club, and it pops right up on Google.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Rick

As these are prospective clubs there is no external site pointing to the club websites yet. Most of the club websites get picked up by google etc via the toastmasters.org/finaclub.

The other way is for you to manually register the site using the google webmaster tools and request that the site be spidered.

Thank you,
