Another fledgling club has asked me to host their members and agendas on our club site until they get started. It is possible to do that? Can I split the site I manage for my club into one for my club and another for the start-up?

Or can they just go ahead and request their own site for their sub-charter-sized club?

Thanks,
Phil

All we require to get a club website is

1) file the "Authorization to Organize"
2) pay the Charter Fee.

This will give them their club number and supplies and we will issue them a club website.

Phil,

You really cannot do that in a way that would work well. You would end up co-mingling role history.

I would recommend focussing on getting them qualified to get a FreeToastHost site set up as Brian is pointing you to, and just using a write-in agenda form in the mean-time. (I have one I prepared for a club I am mentoring if you want a copy of the MS Word file.) Keep copies of the write-in form marked up with actual people completing the roles so that when you do get their website up and running you can create agendas for the past meeting dates and fill in the roles so that the role history is properly reflected.

You can be their site admin once their site is up and running or they can just share the admin password with you. Either way, with the admin password you could go in and set up their agenda templates for them and do the past meeting agendas for role history as I am mentioning. (Remember, the past agendas *are* the role history... you create past role history by creating past agendas and populating them with who did the past roles.)
