Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I couldn't find an answer, so I' posting my question in this forum. We have some members that had decided to not come back to the club and they requested to be removed from the email notification list; which is the correct approach for this ?
So far all I was able to do is update their status as "Former member"; is there any way the member can do it by them self ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Paulo,

The correct method is to set them as former members, as you have done. They would not be able to log in and delete their email address, as that is a required field.

Once they are set as a former member, they will only receive an email if it is sent to the former member email list. If they still want to make sure they do not receive any emails from the club, then you can delete their email in Membership Management.

Make sure they know that removing them from the club email does not stop them from receiving email from Toastmasters International. They will remain on that mailing list until the end of November for this dues period.
