Hi,

Several club members have commented that they are having trouble signing up for roles. Here's what happens:

1. User A logs in to the website and signs up for a role--let's say Timer.[
2. User B logs in and views the agenda for the upcoming meeting.
3. User B looks at the agenda, and it looks like the Timer role is still available. (The sign up button is available.)
4. User B tries to sign up to be Timer. At this point if the agenda refreshes, they see User A's name on the agenda.
5. User B gets surprised and frustrated, now seeing User A's name on the role.

The club president, our members, and I would greatly appreciate support for this issue. Our current workaround is having members manually refresh the page before and after trying to sign up for a role, but our members should not have to do that.

How often has this happened?

How much time between the time they bring up the agenda and the time the actually click the sign up button?

Thanks for your quick response. I'm not sure I can give you a really precise response, but the officer who is fielding the complaints from members says the problem happens "almost always". Also, as far as we know, there is little delay between going to the agenda page and attempting to sign up for a role.

Are they using Internet Explorer?

If so they are caching locally with the default settings, it is not something we can control.
