Hello,
I have an unresolved email problem from Tuesday.

Many of the peoples names that are in the "Reply" section of my previous post are not even in my club.

There is one person with email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. who IS on that list, who IS getting the emails.

I think the problem is on your end, with mixed up email accounts associated with our club site.

PLEASE HELP!

I realize that when you are having an issue like this, it can become very urgent very quickly. We want to resolve this quickly, also, but we need to be very careful to methodically investigate in order to improve our odds of finding out what is going on here. We are all volunteers here, working to support the FTH2 system in our free time. Even with that, we are committed to get your issue looked into, but we need your help a bit.

We need you to bear with us, and additionally provide us with as much information as you can regarding the specific circumstances with sending the emails that you can.

Were these agenda emails? If not, then what? Were they send via an email list? Which one? Was it just the list? Was anyone in the CC?

We will need to look to see if there is a pattern via email providers. For example, are all of the intended recipients gmail users? (or something else?) Sometimes, email providers can change things up.

The more information (need details) that you can provide us about specific circumstances, the better.

Your right. I did recieve the message from Stacey Hess last week. I have asked another person to send an email from the agenda page too - and its not working. Kathleen Durning also tried, with no luck.

I am still unable to email the club by using the email icon within the Agenda Page. I just tried just now, and its still not working. My Club attendance has suffered because of this issue.

So these are specifically agenda emails that you are observing as not being received?
Were the emails send to everyone or just certain people?

Any issues with other types of emails being sent?

1) I just tried to email the club through my work email using This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and that does not work.

2) I also tried emailing the club through the agenda page - emailing the agenda to all club members and that does not work.

Brian posted a bunch of stuff in a previous Support Request I submitted (which is this issue), and many of the email addresses listed were people not in our club but in another one of companies clubs in California.

What does "EMAIL SENT WITH EXCEPTIONS: " mean?

Is the information in the log what is coming back from the email provider?

How do we know whether the email provider actually transmitted the email to the individuals or if they just quarantined it as spam?

That is just the one the others went through. The deferred means her mail server stopped accepting the email. Nothing we can do about that, she will have to talk to her IT group.

Jill, did you put the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. address in the CC of the email that was not received? Is this a pattern for the emails that were not received?

I put that email address in the TO: Field only.

Understood. But now that you have you have interpreted the meaning of the "stat=deferred" phrase for her, Jill can take that to her IT group and have an more effective conversation about it. Maybe her company's IT tweaked their spam filter to trap toastmastersclubs.org emails and did not tell anyone.

I just opened a ticket with my IT people and showed them the info that Brian provided.

This still doesnt explain to me why there are peoples names on that list that are not in our club. As well as why the emails arent going to my gmail account too.

Lastly, can Brian show me the info from the last email I tried to send from this site? Others have tried to send an email today too from the site, and it hasnt worked.

On a hunch, I just tweaked a few settings in your Admin Console. Can you please try sending a test email or two?

Specifically, one to the members list, one to the officers list, and one agenda.

Let me know what happens.
