I sent out an email today, that included our club website address, www.2362.toastmastersclubs.org.
Since I included myself as an addressee, I checked the link and it pointed to the FTH 2.0 site.

All other checks with various browsers pointed to the sight correctly. Any reason why this happened and what can be done to correct it?
There were several people including club members and potential club guests that received the email. Therefore I need to know what's going on ASAP!

The website address shouldn't contain www. It should just be:
http://2362.toastmastersclubs.org
Secretary, Ernst&Young Achieving Potential, club 1137486 (Auckland, NZ)
FreeToastHost Field Officer, District 112 (Northern New Zealand)

Spare yourself anxiety and Backup your site regularly.

Thank you for the help. I tried the new address and it went to the correct site.

However, can you explain why the www.2362.toastmastersclubs.org works on every other occassion and with the browsers? I've also noticed that other Toastmaster clubs websites use the www in them.

To the best of my knowledge, adding the www doesn't work on any occasion. It will cause a redirect to "www.toastmastersclubs.org", which is the main FreeToastHost site with the page where admins can sign up for a website. I've tried it many times with different browsers and always the same result.

I don't know why it's been set up this way, since it seems to confuse many people.

If clubs have a custom domain name, then they can use www.

Only use www when you have custom domain name.

If you are not using a custom domain name, then you are really using a sub-domain of www.toastmastersclubs.org
The www would take someone to the "root" of the domain. Your club is not in the "root" of the domain.
