spoken word club 1086799

I was trying to put a picture that we took on to our home page using the Club Website Settings. I clicked on the image icon and then couldn't figure it out so tried copying and pasting. I have something now totally different. I think it is from the Int TM site. Is it possible to get it back without redoing the whole thing.

Also how to I download a picture on to home page on our website.

Wish I contacted you before I tried doing it.

It looks as though the home page has been almost completely erased. Fortunately, there is an older copy of it in the Google cache, which I've copied and saved. It begins with "ATTENTION!! THERE WILL BE NO MEETING AT THE METROTOWN COMMUNITY ROOM ON SEPTEMBER 26, 2013"

If you like, I can put all that text back on your home page. It will be a bit out of date, but probably better than starting from scratch.

It's even possible that one of the admins may be able to retrieve a more recent version. I'll wait a little to see if any of them have anything to say.

Hi Jane:

The home page that you have there is not very old and is quite up to date.

I would be very happy if you could put it back on our website home page.

I would still like to know how to put in a picture that was emailed to me at the top of the page.

Thank you

CArol

Carol,

There is no undelete and there is no undo at this time.
We cannot undo your home page modifications for you.
You need to keep backups of your web page information.

Carol

I've put the home page information back.

Before you do anything else, I suggest you have a look at the documentation. There's an index at support.toastmastersclubs.org/docs/new-documentation

Particularly useful to you might be support.toastmastersclubs.org/docs/item/...editing-page-content which contains details of how to add images.

Also see support.toastmastersclubs.org/docs/item/backup-your-site for instructions on backing up your page before you do something to it. It's saved me on more than one occasion!

If there's anything in the docs that needs improving, please let us know.
