I get an error message when trying to send email to any of the club lists on FTH.
"Cannot send message using server . . ."

The server listed is an old server associated with an old email address.
That old email address now has a new server.
I have changed the addresses in my profile, but only the old email address appears in the "From" box in the email message.

How can I change the email address that appears in the "From" box?
If I must use the old email address, how can I change the server accessed?

The instructions in FTH for the club email state that the address in the "From" box must be the same as one of the addresses in my profile. This suggests that I should be able to change what is in the "From" box, but I cannot.

Can you help? I would like to be able to mail to the club lists from FTH

RogerM Visitor	Margaret, Double-check your profile 1 more time to make sure there is not a typographical error. Do you get the same message if you send an email to members (or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) from your gmail account?

I just can't send a message by clicking on the club address list in FTH.

Should I be able to see the names and email addresses in the club email address lists?
There is no typo in my profile.

RogerM Visitor	Margaret, Now I understand your frustration. You need to set up your default programs in your control panel to use either your gmail account or your other preferred email. you might need to get local IT assistance or google default programs, depending on your operating system.

Brian Offline Administrator Posts: 12016 Thank you received: 3948	Margret if you use a webmail like gmail you have to copy and paste the email addresses you cannot just click on the address. If you want to just click then you need to setup your PC with an email client like outlook or Microsoft mail.
