I've hunted around for an answer, but have not seen documentation or a post dealing with the presence in an agenda of the "Sign Up" button for listed roles that appear multiple times but that are filled by only one member, despite the underlying template and specific agenda instance indicating that the latter role cannot be signed up for. For example, the first instance of the timer role is listed as "*Timer*" and is marked to allow member signup, and the second (last) instance of the timer role is listed as "*Timer*" and is marked to not allow member signup, yet the Sign Up button still appears by the second instance of Timer.

When I first created the template, I accidentally had the second Timer instance marked to allow signup. I created the agenda instance (dated 10/06/13) from this template. When I noticed the extra Sign Up button, I updated the template and the agenda instance to not allow member signup on the second Timer instance. This removed the Sign Up button, but when I tested signing up for Timer by clicking the Sign Up button on the first Timer instance, the second timer instance did not update with my sign up (I'm assuming it should).

I just checked this out on your website, and I am not noticing anything unexpected.

I did have to do a manual page refresh after setting the timer role... perhaps you need to do that.
