Dear Support,

I know that it is a different website, and this is for the club websites, but since I can't log in there I can't find out if there is support associated with that. I am hoping that if you don't handle that website that you can tell me who I can contact to get some support.


I have been trying for days to log into the toasmasters.org site to pay the club dues (club number 7593). As I am relatively new I don't have an account, the system sends me a temporary password, but when I attempt to use it I get the following message:

Create an Account
An error has occurred.
Error: Personify - TM Customer Registration is currently unavailable.


Here is a screen shot.



I would be greatful if a solution could be found before the 30th, when the semiannuals are due.

Toastmasters International website has a "contact us" form which you can use.

You probably have resources locally as well. For example, your Area Governor, your Division Governor, others in your club who might be able to help out. Reach out to them, rather than trying to struggle on your own.

Two things you could check straight away:
  1. are you sure you are using the same email address that you're signed up with? If you don't know, that is something your Area Governor can check for you.
  2. what are your cookie settings in your browser? Use the settings we recommend in the documentation.

Thanks for your support Jane,

1) the contact form on the toastmaster international website doesn't work, i just get redirected to the page showing the logon error
2) Yes I am absolutely sure that I am using the same email address, there is a different error if I make a typo in the address
3) I had already contacted club exec members and area govener a couple of times and asked for others that I may contact

I also tried different computers, operating systems, and web browswers. All before asking for help here.

4) I don't know what documentation you are refering to, but I have turned on all cookies at your sugestion.

The documentation I'm referring to is support.toastmastersclubs.org/docs/new-documentation It's for using FreeToastHost websites.

It seems odd that the contact form isn't working. You might like to try clearing the browser cache - see the entry in the documentation referred to above.

As an immediate workaround, could you get one of your other officers to pay the dues? I've done this for my club when our club treasurer is away.

Thanks for the link to the documentation. A quick glance doesn't show any reason.

But good news!

I have managed to pay the club dues by using a combination of
  • an older exec members account (which by passed the account creation module)
  • turning off the firewall
  • using Firefox (didn't work with Chrome or IE)/li]
  • I still had accept all cookies enabled

Yes it is very strange, but after create account failed I couldn't go to any other page on the site. I did try clearing the cache, and rebooting without it makeing any difference. I suppose the cache didn't clear properly.

There is still an error in the account creation module, because even with all of the above set up still didn't let me use my own login.

For now I will forget about it. But I should find some way to let the admin know what is happening.
