hello -

We've been having issues for the last week or so with members having trouble signing in to our club site.

I'm typically able to sign in using Chrome on my Mac, but many PC users continue to have trouble.

Thoughts, suggestions?

thanks

Bill,

In addition to what Brian is pointing to, here is another thing that has recently come to light...

The following sequence will *not* work for logging in:

1. Member types their name exactly as in the drop down list.
2. Member presses the Tab key to move from the name field to the password field.
3. Member enters password.

This sequence will cause the error message you see to pop up, since tabbing from the name field to the password field is *not* currently supported. Members *must* pick their name from the drop down for the information to be properly entered. They can either use the down arrow then the enter key to pick the name from the drop down list (& then they will be moved to the password field automatically) OR they can use the mouse to simply click on their name in the drop down list.

As I am suspecting that some members are instinctively using the tab key, I will be trying to implement support for that at some point.

Edit: We have just implemented a modification to the member login that allows the tab key to be used to get from the member name/email field to the password field. When the tab key is used, the first name in the drop down list is automatically selected.
