Hello,

Our club just set up a new website using the FreeToast Host website template. However, we are not sure how to set up the email contact for public inquiries. We have followed instructions on changing the DNS records, including the MX Record. In our old website (which we just replaced with this new FreeToast Host site last night), we had a designated contact email that people who have inquiries can write to. When we sent a test email to this contact email today, an automatic response bounced back from the FreeToast Host server saying that they do not have this recipient.

Based on a forum discussion topic on "info contact", I went into the Email/Contact Us page in the Admin Console. Under the Contact Forms tab, there is a section where people can enter the club contacts. In the dropdown menu, it says "Select Member" who will "accept prospect phone calls". I think there must be a step prior to that where we could set up a members list, from which we can then choose the officer who will be the club contact. However, I haven't found the info on your site regarding what this step is and how to do it. We would also prefer to use a non-personal email address rather than a phone number as the means for people to contact us.

Your help with resolving these questions ASAP would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Here is the doc you need for adding members to your website: support.toastmastersclubs.org/component/...bership-management-2

I strongly recommend that you send a new member welcome email to each of your members even though they may not really be "new". (They are probably new to FreeToastHost.) The email contains useful information for each of them.

Once you have added members, you should see that the contact us drop downs get populated and you can choose your contact people. You do not have to make them "phoneable". That is optional.
