Don't know how to get the desired end result: Main menu >> Meeting notes >> meeting dates with themes (clicking on each date takes user to the notes from that meeting)

I know I can upload all those meeting notes files to "Member Downloads" and link to each date, but I don't want to have to store the meeting notes there and clutter that area. Instead, I'd like to store them in some other spot where one doesn't have to drill through them but where I could link to those individual files and post the link on that "Meeting Notes" page. How can I do this? I saw something that hinted to "unlisted pages" which seems like my solution--but I don't know how to get there.

Thanks for your help. Darleen

Darleen,

Your best option is to use File Manager. Create the documents, saving them as a PDF. Upload them, naming them using something like this: Meeting Notes: 2013-11-25 Meeting Notes: 2013-12-02 This will create a folder called Meeting Notes with the individual files in them.

Here is the link for the documentation for file manager: support.toastmastersclubs.org/docs/item/file-management

They will be available in the public downloads, if you mark them as public. If you want a link on the Main Menu, you will need to create a custom page, then add the file names and links in the custom page.

To recap:
  1. create the pdf of the meeting notes
  2. upload the files to file manager into a folder
  3. Create a custom page named Meeting Notes
  4. within the custom page, type the meeting date, highlight it and click on the link icon and paste in the URL of the file
