Hello Support Team.

Trying to update club calendar with correct club meeting information.

It looks as though there is a club meeting posted on the club calendar on the correct day but at 2:15 a. The post is also backgrounded in blue, so it is a "club meeting," per the legend. This seems to occur in sync with all the meeting agendas we have loaded so far in the website.

Rather than have the meeting info be posted as a result of a loaded agenda, we would prefer to put the meeting info in by the website administrator. It would seem that we might have more direct control over posts this way as well.

So, pls. let me know if I am correct as to why the mtg info is occurring as it is, how do we get the incorrect info removed, and confirm that we can proceed with doing it as an admin. event rather than having the agenda function adding it to the calendar automatically.

Thank you!

Linda,

Check your default time zone setting on the Basic Settings tab for Website settings when the Admin Console is launched.

Thanks to Roger for his response. After correcting for our time zone, I was able to correct the club calendar but had to edit each agenda that had already been "loaded" into the club website. The time zone correction did not automatically fix each month's incorrect posting.

I am still wondering if there is any other way to post club meeting times and club meeting info in the club calendar except by way of the agenda function. That part of my support request has not been answered. Can anyone please advise? I know how to add other events to the club calendar. Put another way, are club meetings only posted to the club calendar is there is an agenda with a date loaded into the club website?

Thank you.

There's nothing to stop you from adding a meeting time directly to the calendar. Some clubs who don't use the agenda feature do it that way. But if you're using the agenda feature, you can't prevent the blue meeting notifications from appearing, so you would end up with two entries.
