Hi,
The link to our vp education from the Mentor /mentee request is not working so new members are unable to request a mentor.
I have saved it correctly but alas in vain. If I enter an official into the spot where one selects who the recipient should be it won't save.
Any suggestions. We allow all the committee to have administrator access and anyone else who wants to contribute so we may have done something we shouldn't have. I hope you can help

I was able to save the VP Education as your contact for the mentor/mentee requests form. That suggests that something is wrong at your end, possibly browser settings.

What browser and browser version are you using? Have you tried a different browser?

Are you talking about setting the recipient of the mentor requests on the Email and Contact Forms page?

Need specifics so we can properly investigate.

Thanks for your reply. It is a pleasant day here in Canberra.
At home I have an iMac and use Safari
I tested it at work using Internet Explorer. Still no luck.
I am able to select vp education from the drop down list in the "email and contact form" tab
I save it.
When I go to my members only menu the "Mentor/ mentee" words are in a smaller font and there is no link.
I return the drop down menu in the "email & contact forms" and if I have logged in as a member as well as admin it reads "select member"
I again select vp education and try again but again the mentor/mentee link is not working.
I return to see if the vp education is still selected but alas it has dropped out.
I am the next vp education so I am keen to get my name onto the web site.
I wonder what I am doing wrong.

It just may be a browser dependency or something peculiar with your set up. We do see that sort of thing.

It keeps us on our toes trying to keep everything working for all the myriad computer software configurations out there.

It would be helpful if you can post a screen shot of your screen showing the problem, so that we can see exactly what you are seeing.

Thanks for your help. The work browser (IE) should be upto date as I work at the National Library. At home we are soon to update. I have Chrome at home as well so I will try it out. I hope that solves it. I really like the website template and it has given me great pleasure creating a web presence for our club.
I hope the attachment is useful in explaing what I am doing wrong.

Which version #'s are you using of your browsers? Some the older versions give us fits and are not really supported.

This should be fixed now.
