Hi, I have been trying to add a link to District 61's website on our website without any success.

I see it in the menu on the left but when I click on it does not bring me to the District 61 website. It opens a window and I see the link which I can then click on it and then it brings be to the District 61 website.

I have read the instructions and cannot figure it out. Can you help.

Thanks.

You want to create a custom link, but you are likely creating a custom page.

Leave the following blank:

Web Page Name

Web Page Description

Web Page Keywords

We probably need to make this clearer in our docs.

Having a webpage name is OK. (It will show in the menu instead of just the link.) The other two must be left blank.

See support.toastmastersclubs.org/docs/item/links-to-other-sites

Jane, having the Web Page *Title* is what shows in the menu, *not* the Web Page Name. Web Page Name would be like mywebpage.html

I get confused by this also. I have been thinking of changing "Web Page Title" to "Menu Text" or "Menu Entry" for clarity.

Excellent point re name vs title. I also get confused easily on that one, as you can see!

I think we need something that is unambiguous.

Well, the Web Page Title is what shows up as an item in the menu, which is why I thought of changing it to be Menu ______ (fill in the blank)
