I noticed that the email message editing buttons are not enabled. I'm a member of two clubs (Juno How to Talk and Gold Coast Toastmasters) both of these sites have this same issue. After some checking around, it seems that CKEditor is needed. The installation instructions say to copy the files to the root of the website. How is this done?
Thank you!

Sue,

The CKEditor install is handled by us (me), not the clubs. It is part of the baseline template functionality that we provide to all clubs. It is already part of the system. If you have any doubts about that, look at the source view of any of your website pages. You will see a reference to CKEditor in the header of the source view.

If you are having issues with seeing the editor buttons, some specifics and a screen shot would be helpful. Specifics should include exactly what screen(s) are you having the issue on and what exact steps did you do prior to getting the issue. Did you make any changes to your browser configuration/settings? (Did you add any add-ons to it?) The editor is very touchy about the end user's configuration and it is the plug-in that has given us the most fits of all the plug-ins we employ.

There is a bug fix update that the CKEditor folks released at the beginning of December. I have not tested or installed it yet for everyone--right now I having some unrelated computer hardware issues myself. :S

Thanks Brian and Steve. It works perfect using Google Crome on my machine, so I'll do that. I did try allowing cookies on IE9, but that didn't make available any addtional buttons on the send agenda via email screen where you create your message. The cut, paste and most of those other buttons were grayed on in IE. I followed a link to the CREdit info, and that's where I got the crazy idea that I needed something installed.

I'm a happy camper, thanks so much for your help.

I would suggest trying IE again in a few weeks after I have a chance to install the CKEditor update.
