we would like to reach out to former members to have them 'come back' to our club and have composed an email re: this . . . i would like to send it out and have the source address be - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - as they already have this in their spam filter and they don't know who i am (with my private address). how can i achieve this or something similar to make it 'official'?

thank you for the response . . in your answer, it appears that i have to create a new distribution list and then do the mailing . . . i'm new here and didn't know i could do that (supposing you did mean that).

is there a way to use the source address without this? as i will only be asking one time and do not want to correspond multiple times.

sorry for the continued questions . . . i see the former member list now. i will look at the docs to see how to change the status for my term.

in the meantime, i have 26 names culled from the last 2 years for this campaign . . . i asked senior members to provide them. so i will ask you what is the easiest way to send them this We Want You Back message without trying to impose the former member status on them?
