Hi,

I'm new to editing our club's custom web page. I did find out that apparently you can't use Chrome if you want to upload pictures, as the dialog to upload won't appear. Using Internet Explorer, I have been able to edit our custom page somewhat and upload an image, but doing so causes the page to freeze and become inaccessible via any browser I used for several hours. I just now did an edit with no picture uploading, and again it froze/crashed and is inaccessible from other browsers.

Here is the link to our site, Funny Bones. It is in it's inaccessible/crashed state at this writing. The page I'm talking about is called "Weekly Rundown"

funnybonestm.toastmastersclubs.org/

I think the rest of the site works okay. Apparently this problem has been going on since November 2013.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Apparently someone deleted photos from the server without first deleting the img tags in the pages that reference the photos. That will cause problems. *Always* delete the photos from the page *first* before deleting the referenced image file from the server photo storage.

I deleted the invalid img tags.

Thank you Steve. That makes sense. The site is still not working though. Will that fix itself in time?

It works fine for me on IE11. You mentioned 2 browsers. Which browser and version are you using when you are unable to access your website?

If I use Chrome I can't upload photos it seems. I can view the page fine with Chrome. But then again I haven't tried it since Brian fixed the site by deleting the picture links that pointed to deleted pictures.

please make sure your chrome has flash activated and that you don't have an extension that turned it off.

Okay Brian, Chrome works now for photo uploading. I guess it didn't work because of the links to nowhere issue. The Flash and extensions settings were fine.

Thanks again!
