It will not let me save any information that I try to enter. We have a new member and since the site will not let me save her info, I cant send her a new member email for our club website. Please advise on what I should do to fix this! Thanks!

I could coach you how to check for IE error messages in the IE developer tools if you are up for that.
Those error messages are usually the key tip-off if something is going wrong.

Here is how to use the IE developer tools to find a relevant script error message. It is long... that is why I don't post this approach much.

Refresh your cache and go to your website. Log in as an admin. Do *not* load the admin console yet.

Press the F12 key. When you do this, you will see a new pane open up at the bottom of your IE screen. That is the developer tools pane.

You need to get the Console part of the Developer Tools showing in the bottom pane. Trying to remember how it works in IE8... I think there is a button or a tab that says Console... Click that. Also, you need to make sure debugging is ON. I think it is on by default with the Console showing, but I do not remember for sure.

Once you have the Console part of the Developer Tools showing and debugging is ON, then load the admin console, load Membership Management, and go through the steps that you did before that did not work correctly. Do the save step, but do *not* close Membership Management. You have to do this with the Console Pane *open*.

You should notice some warnings and messages showing up in the Console pane as you do this--those are what I am after. Don't worry too much about warnings... (Try this sometime on the Google Search page and you will see a number of them.)

Scroll to the bottom of the warning/error message list in the console to get the most recent ones. Use Ctrl-PrntScrn to take a screen shot of them, paste the screen shot into MS Paint, save the file, then attach that file in a message post here. I will take a look at it to see if there are any error messages that I can use as a clue about what is going on.

You can press the F12 key again to get out of developer tools. (it is a toggle)

Ok, I just did a refresh on my memory: msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd565625(v=vs.85).aspx

Click on the Script tab, then click on Start Debugging. On the right hand side of the Script tab screen is the Console pane where error messages will show up. The left hand side is just a listing of the javascript commands being ran.

One thing is see in the screen shot that you posted is Browser Mode: IE8 Compat View... You don't have Compatibility Mode on when running FTH2, do you? (That could be the root problem, if so.)

Anyway, if you could run through the steps that produced the problem with the Debugger running, you should end up with a some warnings and/or error messages in the Console pane. Those are what I need to see. You should be able to minimize the developer tools/debugger window while you are doing this.

Sorry to put you through all this, but sometimes it really is the best (and only) way to find the cause of an obscure problem.

Also, here is what it detected during debugging...

Turning off Compatibility View: (found this via Google for IE8; I use IE11)

0. Turn off Developer Tools.
1. Goto tools menu (on the top) on Internet Explorer 8. (normal menu, not in Developer Tools)
2. Click on Compatibility view settings.
3. uncheck "Include updated websites list from Microsoft".
4. Uncheck "Display all websites in compatibility view" if it is checked.
5. Click on close, and you are done. refresh the page and you are good to go.

Make sure you clear your browser cache, also. (see support.toastmastersclubs.org/component/...earing-browser-cache ) Try out the steps that gave you the problem to see if it still exists.
If no go, then go back into Dev Tools and continue...

The "Object doesn't support this property or method" issue would be consistent with being in compatibility mode, since that mode shuts off some IE browser functionality.

I am a little more concerned about the Invalid Argument error, though. That error should also show up in the list in the Console pane with a link to the right of the error message. Could you click that link so that the relevant javascript shows up at the left and post a screen shot of that?
