Thank you for contacting me.

BET_MONTHLY_SEPTEMBER_2013.pdf. Last night at 1am I must have deleted -saved-exited 5 times and each time it returned. At 2am I decided to give up. Today I was able to delete.

000_Current_2014_01_BET_Monthly.pdf. I tried to change properties from locked to unlock and same story.

Was there an issue going on last night that has since been resolved?.

Just now I realized I named an up loaded file called 2013_10_BET_Monthly.pdf as 2013_09_BET_Monthly.pdf. When I try to correct the name to be 10 not 09, hitting save and save and then exit. It still is wrong when I get back into file manager.

Correction, 2013_10_BET_Monthky.pdf won't upload....looks like a phantom file that's why I can't make it public.

There are some orphaned description files and security files in your file uploads folder.
I am guessing that is the root of the issue.

The server is not letting me delete them. Brian will have to do that.

All monthly news letter have been uploaded and made public, thank you !

How do I get them to sort in reverse so that the higher number is on top. 2014_01 then 2013_12 then 2013_11 etc.

Thank you!

Reverse sort is going to be tough. I don't think you can do that currently.

I tried to rename my files to sort from newest first. It didn't work. Now I can't restore the old names. ex 2013_6 to 2013_06

What is causing that?

thanks!

Here is part of what I see (what I could fit in a screen shot):

Keep in mind that the file manager is kind of slow and not very responsive at times. Something I hope to fix later this year.

Interesting. It appears they all have the preceding '0'. I guess I should wait until tomorrow and see.

I have just uploaded the Feb newsletter; I have tried to rename the January newsletter,
0_Current_2014_01_BET_Monthly.pdf to 2014_01_BET_Monthly.pdf. But this change is not being retained after a properly "save" all changes. Can you please make the change for me?

FYI, I will need to do this each month because I move the current news letter to the top with the 00_Current prefix appended to the news letter.

Thanks for your help.

Lia,

Look in your public downloads now. I renamed 2 of them (click on the folder BET Monthly) The naming convention we recommend to keep them in order is 2014_01_BET_Monthly, 2014_02_BET_Monthly. Notice that your 2013 June - September are missing the 0. That will make the sort to be not exactly what you want it to be.

For folders, use this convention (make sure there is a space after the : )

BET Monthly: 2014_01_BET Monthly

I'm not sure what you mean by folders, I did not create any folders? Hmmm,

I changed the naming convention be cause the club wanted the most recent on top. Now they are in the middle and won't be found.

Last month I tried several times to add the 0 to june, july and august, September but it would not do it.

Please allow me to keep the '00' on the most recent issue so club member see that one first. Thanks!

So can I add the numbers to folder names? Like BET MONTHLY 2013 and another folder BET MONTHLY 2014? :)

Lia,

yes you can add 2013 or 2014 to the names. It looks like they are sorting correctly now.

If you need the 00 and 0, by all means use them.

I am not sure why the changes would not hold for you.
