In the left navigation menu, there is a link titled "Club E-mail Addresses." The addresses listed, however, have our custom domain name and do not forward.

How do I change the addresses, for example: from "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." to "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it."?

Thank you!

That will not make any difference. The issue is that when those were implemented (not by me), they use mailto: links which only work if you have a email client program on your computer and it is set up to handle mailto: links. Some browsers will also handle those (if the browser serves as a surrogate mailto handler), but some will not. If you have Outlook or Thunderbird on your computer, they can be configured to handle the mailto: links also.

I will probably have to implement a custom mailto handler in the future... those links are a source of headaches. The current setup is a bad implementation, in my opinion.

If you want more information on this, Google mailto links, mailto handler, email client, etc. You will see what I mean.

Thank you for the quick reply but I do not think that answers my question.

I understand the issue with the mailto: links but the addresses listed specifically in that left navigation pop up do not work even as cut and paste. Is there anyway to change the emails addresses that are listed in that pop up window? I need to change them from the custom domain addresses to the standard Toastmastersclubs.org addresses.

Thanks!

I think the problem might be that the MX record isn't correctly defined with your domain name registrar. So the system doesn't know what to do with the emails.

I can see that currently it's reading 10 mx.toastofinverness.org.cust.b.hostedemail.com.

It should read instead 10 mail.toastofinverness.org

This isn't my field of expertise, but I'd suggest trying changing this and seeing if it helps. If you're not sure what it all means, ask your domain name registrar to help you. You're paying them, after all.
