Is something going on with the servers? Over the past couple months, there have been numerous times that I have trouble logging in to our club (#1519949) website, due to extreme slowness.

It appears to be an FTH issue, as I have no trouble logging in to any other sites, everything's current on our end, and it randomly works well.

Yesterday morning (day of meeting), severe slowness as I attempted to log in to print a member's introduction.
Last night, it was working as normal.
Today, it won't even let me "select" my name in order to enter my password, effectively rendering the agenda function useless.

Help?

Thanks,

Jan

Sorry that you are having this problem. Mondays and Tuesdays are particularly high volume days for us... have you been able to log in on any other days? Trying to determine if this is a responsiveness issue or if there is some other issue involved with this.

If it is the responsiveness issue... we are working on it. We beg your patience.

You may also be able to use your email address to log in as a member. Using this approach does not require that you wait for the autocomplete popup.

It is definitely the responsiveness issue. Sometimes I can log in relatively smoothly, others it's just so slow that it isn't worth using.

Thanks for the heads up on typing the entire email address instead of waiting...that reduces the required time a little, although still not enough to be able to get things done in the time frame I need to.

As VPE, I rely heavily on this website for preparing agendas. I typically log in on Mondays & Tuesdays (our meetings are Tuesday evenings) and when I'm doing this during a break at work, I simply don't have the time to wait this long. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, or we will unfortunately be compelled to explore another avenue for managing agendas.

Is there an estimated date for resolution to the responsiveness issue?

Thanks :)

Re: ETA on the responsiveness issue... Not a firm date as we are all volunteers trying to fit this in with everything else in our lives. I can tell you that the responsiveness issue is high on our priority list and we are looking into both hardware and software solutions at this time. I myself am concerned with reducing the number of screen refreshes and data transfers needed--that should reduce the amount of traffic overall. That is work in progress for me.

Thanks, Steve. Whatever you can do to reduce refreshing and increase responsiveness will be greatly appreciated. :)
