I see that the pencil icon doesn't show up immediately after adding yourself as the Toastmaster, but if you open a different page and then go back to the agenda, the icon will be there. Please use this as a workaround in the mean time.

Any officer who has been given access to agenda settings (typically VPE and President) should always see the pencil icon.

Any member can add or remove themselves from a role if the agenda role setting allows that (setting on agenda or carried through from agenda template. This is different to the pencil icon which allows editing of the entire agenda.

A new feature can be set to notify various people when people take on or drop a role, documentation here: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/agenda-default-settings

Not exactly. You cannot authorize any additional officers to edit the live dated agendas at this time. (Interesting idea though... hmmm... I wish I had thought of that) It is just the Admin, VPE, and TM of the meeting that can use the pencil button to edit the displayed agenda.

The agenda buttons are showing up a bit slow--it is a JavaScript issue. I will be addressing that in the upcoming weeks. I have a plan in mind for that.

It is the *agenda templates* that you can authorize other officers to edit. My focus was on the modules in the admin console only when I implemented the access settings stuff. I could certainly add other types of access settings in the future.

realst8ace Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 10 Thank you received: 0	Our past President/now secretary used to go into the agenda after every meeting and update it to reflect the evening's participants so that historically, the agendas would reflect who actually did what. That way it was easy to track speaking progress and assignments for the CL manual.
