I'm working with my club in District 44 as the VP of Education and I really need help in getting the website and member information updated for a post-merger club. We have changed our club name, IT credentials and of course email. Can someone help me?

Hi Steve,

Is there a process to quickly update a club website? My company underwent a corporate merger and we have changed a great deal to manage transitions; new IT admins, new emails and of course new staff.

It will be helpful if you could post your club number or put it in your forum signature (easier--please see the link in my forum sig below for how to do that)

We would need you to identify specifically what needs to be updated so we can properly advise you. Do you have a custom domain name for your club that incorporates your company name? Does your home page and meeting information page mention the company name? Do your members email addresses use the company name? Is your company mentioned in your agenda meeting descriptions (at the top)?

The club is formerly known as Beyond Talkers under the previous corporation Cbeyond. We are now the Birch Toastmasters Chat Crew.

As a part of the corporate merger transition, we no longer have access to the corporate entities tied to the administrative profiles required to manage email properties, add users and make needed changes.

As a new member of Toastmasters-post merger integration, I found it easier to use my personal email address to build a profile. I'm copying this response to Brian, another admin who replied.

As I stated before, the admin was blocked because the approval submissions were going to an old email address that she no longer had access to.

As Brian is pointing to, start with getting your information corrected on the Toastmasters website via Club Central. That will correct the Find a Club entry that our change form refers to. It may take several days after you make the change on Club Central before it is reflected in you club's Find a Club entry. Once it correctly shows up in Find a Club, then do our admin change form. The change form will send out a couple of emails with approval links in them. Once one of the approval links is clicked, the admin will be changed over to the new person.
