riseandshineaz.toastmastersclubs.org admin chiming in here. Our site uses an embedded Flickr slideshow via iframe. It works great, but I wish I could get the autoplay feature back. Flickr tends to change things and what once worked beautifully now does not, but our photos are front and center and one can easily navigate forward or backward through the photos within the slideshow. I also have embedded the slideshow via our Meetup.com page and use a tab on our Facebook page to display the Flickr slideshow. I aim for ease and efficiency and Flickr accomplishes this, allowing me to upload images to a single site (Flickr) thereby updating all sites and social media.

Have a look at this post and see if that helps you. Some of the other posts in that thread might also be of use.

I was having similar issues with our website for Sophia Energy Toastmasters Club #3672256. Someone was kind enough to help me out. Following are the steps that were sent to me to help out with pics on our website and works great for us. I hope you find the information useful:
  • Create an account at Cincopa.com or sign in using a Google email and password.
  • Click on “what ever your account name is” in the upper right corner.
  • In the upper right there is a yellow link “Create a New Gallery” click on it.
  • 5 tabs come up, click on the second one for “Slideshows”
  • Select the 3rd skin in the 2nd row….it seems to be the easiest to work with.
  • It will come up in the next screen….at the top click “Use this skin”
  • You will see 3 tabs…basic, advanced, and misc just above the image of the skin
  • BASIC TAB: name the gallery something that will identify it, but you can put a detailed description below
  • Set the MAX width to 300px (for small slide show like home page)
  • Turn AUTOPLAY ON
  • ADVANCED TAB: change Add text to description
  • Show bullets: never
  • Social icon: disabled
  • MISC TAB: no changes
  • CLICK NEXT
  • Upload images….easy drag and drop
  • CLICK NEXT
  • ADD TEXT ONLY in the description area
  • At the top right is “Grid View” this will let you rearrange the pictures just by drag and drop
  • CLICK NEXT
  • On the right is a “PREVIEW” which will let you look at the slideshow.
USE THE BOTTOM CODE (CLICK COPY) IT TAKES A MINUTE TO COPY
At this point you can add it to the website, but there are a few adjustments that have to made on the website to make it just right.
  • You will need to go to the “source” section of the page you wish to add it to. Add it to the very top ABOVE all other code. Go back to the regular view where you can drag the slideshow into the table cell where you want it.
  • In the iframe properties of the slideshow (right click) you can turn on the border and in the “class style” you can change the weight and color of the border.
Thank You
