Yesterday, member of club 9579 requested an authentication link to login to the club website. As Administrator, I received the email copy (without the actual link). But the club member did not.

We verified her email address was correct in membership management.

Is there anyway to check and see if an authentication link was sent out to her address? Or if there was a problem sending it?

Thank you,

Yes, forgot to mention that we checked her spam folder. We also looked for email "conversations" that her email client may have accidentally created.

How about a first name so we can trace her email?

I did a terrible job fully explaining the problem. :)

The gmail address is what we changed it to after the initial problem. That seemed to work. However, last night, she tried to authenticate with this email and it never showed up. -- This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We were hoping to find out if the kaiacomm.com shows up in your logs as successful or not.

The reason I ask is that the gmail address is not primary, hence not checked as often. She is going to forward the gmail address to help get TM mails, but its not idea.

Thanks for investigating.

That domain is hosted in a datacenter that has attacked our servers many times. I have allowed her domain IP for now.

Thanks, I'll consult the member and see if she wants to go back to the other email address.

Hi, I'm adding to this old post because there is a problem with the same user again. She tried to send a message to the members list at our club (9579 siliconforest.toastmastersclubs.org) but got this timeout. .... However, I received the message so we're not quite sure what's up. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Eric

Her domain is in a data center that allows hackers to use their systems. We will continue to protect our servers from misuse.

Her domain MX is pointing to an IP that we have allowed through the firewall. This new problem is because she is not using that IP to send email.
